Listening requires nothing from you.
Anyone can scan a marker and hear a story without an account, a download or a sign-up. Information is only requested when someone chooses to contribute or contact us.
Visitors
Listening to a story does not require an account. We collect basic, aggregate usage information to understand which stories are being heard, and we do not sell personal information.
Contributors
When someone chooses to share a memory, we ask for the details needed to review and credit the contribution. The organization caring for that location reviews submissions before anything is published, and a contributor can ask for their story to be removed.
Organizations and sponsors
Information submitted through our enquiry forms is used only to respond to that enquiry and to discuss a possible working relationship.
